New Orleans Bulldog Rescue
NOBR focuses on rescuing and rehabilitating bully breeds pulled from shelters all over Louisiana. But never fear! They also rescue dogs of all breeds, because they have hearts of gold. With a wide foster network, NOBR holds adoptions events every month, as well as other fundraisers to raise money for the medical needs of their rescues.

Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter
Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter has two locations, just outside of New Orleans. A municipal shelter, they take in strays and owner surrenders, and work hard with local rescues and with an army of volunteers to get good homes for their animals. They have a foster program, R-N-R, Camp Happy Tails, a robust heartworm treatment options for adopters, and many other programs!
